## Brazilian Grand Prix Stalled: Norris Earns Pole, Lap Crash Delays Race
### Norris Dominates Qualifying
Norris delivered a brilliant performance in qualifying, outpacing Ferrari's Carlos Sainz and Charles Leclerc to secure his first pole of the 2022 season. The 23-year-old's impressive lap time of 1:11.300 was nearly half a second faster than his nearest rival.
### Chaotic Start
The race got off to a chaotic start when George Russell's Mercedes collided with Zhou Guanyu's Alfa Romeo on the opening lap, sending both cars into the barriers and causing a red flag. The incident also involved other cars, including Pierre Gasly's AlphaTauri, Sergio Perez's Red Bull, and Norris's McLaren.
### Race Restart
After the restart, Norris maintained his lead, but Sainz quickly closed the gap. The Ferrari driver couldn't find a way past Norris, however, and the McLaren driver held on to win his second race of the season. Sainz finished second, followed by Leclerc in third.
