Despite several late-race cautions and restarts, Byron held his ground and crossed the finish line first, his emotion evident as he celebrated the victory.
Blaney, the 29-year-old driver of the No. 12 Team Penske Ford, also had a strong showing, finishing second behind Byron. Blaney ran in the top five for much of the race and made crucial passes in the late stages to secure his Championship 4 berth.
