Fan Recounts Altercation With JSO Officers At Georgia-Florida Game

A fan attending the Georgia-Florida game has recounted his altercation with JSO officers.

The fan, who has asked not to be named, said he was leaving the game when he was stopped by JSO officers. He said the officers asked him for his ticket, and he showed it to them. However, the officers then asked him to step out of line and began questioning him.

"They were asking me where I was going, what I was doing," the fan said. "I was just trying to leave the game, but they wouldn't let me go."

The fan said the officers then began to search him. He said they found nothing illegal, but they still detained him for over an hour.

"They kept saying that they were investigating something, but they wouldn't tell me what it was," the fan said. "I was just sitting there, and they wouldn't let me go."

Police Response

The JSO has said that they are investigating the incident. They have not released any further information.

The fan has said that he plans to file a complaint with the JSO. He said he believes that he was illegally detained and that the officers used excessive force.
