Rams Anticipate Nacua's (Knee) Return to Action on Sunday
Wide receiver Tutu Atwell (knee) did not practice again Thursday, and his status remains up in the air for the Rams' Week 15 matchup with the Denver Broncos.
Also, wide receiver Lance McCutcheon (knee) left practice early Thursday.
On the bright side, there was positive news on wide receiver Van Jefferson, who returned to practice for the first time since having knee surgery in August.
Quarterback Matthew Stafford (ribs), linebacker Travin Howard (groin), cornerback David Long (ankle) and tight end Jacob Harris (ankle) were all full participants in practice.
Nacua a Key Part of Rams' Offense
Nacua has been a key part of the Rams' offense this season, catching 24 passes for 395 yards and three touchdowns. He has also rushed for 76 yards on eight carries.
Nacua's return would be a big boost to the Rams' offense, which has struggled at times this season. The Rams are currently ranked 23rd in the NFL in total offense and 24th in passing offense.
With Nacua back in the lineup, the Rams would have a more dynamic offense. Nacua is a versatile player who can line up at receiver or running back. He is also a dangerous returner.
Rams Facing Tough Broncos Defense
The Rams will face a tough Broncos defense on Sunday. The Broncos are ranked ninth in the NFL in total defense and eighth in passing defense.
The Broncos have a lot of talented players on their defense, including cornerback Patrick Surtain II, safety Justin Simmons and linebacker Bradley Chubb.
The Rams will need to be at their best to score points against the Broncos. Nacua's return would give the Rams a much-needed boost.
