Saints Cornerbacks Lattimore And McKinstry Sidelined For Panthers Matchup
New Orleans Saints cornerbacks Marshon Lattimore and Bradley Roby are both expected to miss Sunday's game against the Carolina Panthers due to injury.
Lattimore, a Pro Bowl selection in 2017, is dealing with a hamstring injury, while Roby is nursing a groin injury.
The Saints will also be without cornerback P.J. Williams, who is serving a one-game suspension for violating the NFL's substance abuse policy.
With Lattimore, Roby, and Williams all out, the Saints are expected to start rookie cornerback Paulson Adebo and veteran cornerback Ken Crawley.
Adebo has started two games this season, while Crawley has started one.
The Saints are hoping that Adebo and Crawley can step up and fill the void left by Lattimore and Roby.
Adebo And Crawley Step Up For Saints
Adebo and Crawley both played well in the Saints' Week 1 loss to the Green Bay Packers.
Adebo had six tackles and a pass breakup, while Crawley had four tackles.
The Saints are hoping that Adebo and Crawley can continue to play well in the absence of Lattimore and Roby.
The Panthers have a talented receiving corps led by D.J. Moore and Robby Anderson.
Adebo and Crawley will need to play well in order to help the Saints slow down the Panthers' passing attack.
