Wild Forward Out of Game Against Minnesota Tonight

Injury Sidelines Key Player

Minnesota Wild forward Kirill Kaprizov is out of tonight's game against the Wild after suffering an upper-body injury in practice on Monday.

Kaprizov is the Wild's leading scorer this season with 27 goals and 43 assists. He is also a key part of the team's power play.

The Wild will be without Kaprizov for at least the next two games. He is expected to be re-evaluated after that.

In Kaprizov's absence, the Wild will likely move Mats Zuccarello to the top line with Ryan Hartman and Kevin Fiala.

The Wild are currently in third place in the Central Division. They are two points behind the Nashville Predators and the Dallas Stars.

Tonight's game against the Wild is scheduled to start at 7:00 p.m. at the Xcel Energy Center.
