## Arteta Admits Defeat To Newcastle, Acknowledges Weaknesses

Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta admitted defeat in the Premier League title race and acknowledged his team's weaknesses following a 2-0 loss to Newcastle United on Sunday.

### Arsenal's Struggles

Arsenal have now lost three of their last four league games, including defeats to Manchester City and Brighton, and their title hopes are all but over.

Arteta said his team were "not good enough" against Newcastle and identified several areas where they need to improve.

"We were not good enough in the first half," he said. "We were too slow, we were too predictable, and we didn't create enough chances.

"We improved in the second half, but we still made too many mistakes. We gave away two goals, and we didn't take our chances.

"We need to be more clinical, we need to be more creative, and we need to be more consistent."

### Arteta Acknowledges Team's Weaknesses

Arteta also acknowledged that his team have some weaknesses that need to be addressed.

"We have some weaknesses that we need to improve," he said. "We are too open at times, and we need to be better at defending set pieces.

"We also need to be more clinical in front of goal. We had some good chances today, but we didn't take them.

"These are things that we need to work on, and we will work on them."

### Arsenal's Remaining Fixtures

Arsenal have six games remaining in the Premier League season, starting with a home match against Everton on Wednesday.

After that, they face Chelsea, Manchester United, West Ham, Brighton, and Wolves.

Arteta said his team will need to win all of their remaining games to have any chance of finishing in the top four.

"We need to win every game," he said. "We need to be perfect.

"We know it will be difficult, but we will fight until the end."
