Bruins to Honor Legendary Broadcaster Jack Edwards on Sunday, November 3
The Boston Bruins will honor legendary broadcaster Jack Edwards with a special ceremony on Sunday, November 3, before their game against the Vancouver Canucks.
A Bruins Icon
Edwards has been the voice of the Bruins for over 20 years, and his passionate and entertaining commentary has made him a fan favorite. He is known for his signature catchphrases, such as "Wicked!" and "Son of a Biscuit!", and his ability to connect with fans on a personal level.
A Hall of Famer
In 2020, Edwards was inducted into the Boston Bruins Hall of Fame, and in 2022, he received the Lester Patrick Trophy for his outstanding contribution to hockey in the United States.
A Special Ceremony
The ceremony on November 3 will include a video tribute to Edwards, as well as speeches from Bruins President Cam Neely and General Manager Don Sweeney. Edwards will also drop the ceremonial puck before the game.
