Former Vikings Cheerleader Jamie Erdahl To Sound Kuskehorn For Week 9 Game Vs. Colts
This will be the first time that a woman has ever sounded the horn at U.S. Bank Stadium.
Erdahl was a cheerleader for the Vikings from 2005 to 2008. She was a part of the team that won the NFC North division title in 2008.
Erdahl is a graduate of the University of Minnesota. She earned a degree in broadcast journalism.
She is married to former Vikings player Kyle Rudolph. The couple has two children.
Erdahl's Reaction to Being Asked to Sound the Horn
Erdahl said that she was "honored" to be asked to sound the horn.
"It's a dream come true," she said. "I've been a Vikings fan my whole life, and I've always wanted to be a part of the team."
Erdahl said that she is excited to be a part of Vikings history.
"I know that this is a special moment for the Vikings organization, and I'm honored to be a part of it," she said.
What to Expect from Erdahl's Performance
Erdahl said that she is planning to "give it her all" when she sounds the horn.
"I want to make sure that the fans get the full experience," she said. "I'm going to put my heart and soul into it."
Erdahl said that she is confident that she will be able to sound the horn successfully.
"I've been practicing," she said. "I'm ready to give it a try."
