## Halloween Howler: Riley Laychuk's Forecast For Manitoba On Thursday, Oct. 31, 2024
### What to expect on Halloween night
Manitoba is in for a treat this Halloween, with mild temperatures and mostly clear skies expected across the province.
Environment and Climate Change Canada meteorologist Riley Laychuk says temperatures will be in the mid to upper single digits on Thursday night, with winds of 20 to 30 km/h.
"It's going to be a pretty decent night for trick-or-treating," Laychuk said. "It's not going to be too cold, and it's not going to be too windy."
Laychuk says there is a slight chance of a few showers in the southern part of the province, but most areas should remain dry.
"The showers are not expected to be heavy, and they should move through the province quickly," he said.
Laychuk says the mild weather is expected to continue through the weekend, with temperatures in the double digits on Friday and Saturday.
"It's going to be a great weekend to get outdoors and enjoy the fall colours," he said.
