Joshua Roy scored a hat trick in the second period to lead the Laval Rocket to a 4-2 win over the Providence Bruins on Wednesday night.

The hat trick was Roy's first of the season and the second of his AHL career. He now has 20 goals in 33 games this season.

Roy's first goal came at 6:09 of the second period, when he took a pass from Jesse Ylönen and beat Bruins goaltender Kyle Keyser with a wrist shot.

Roy made it 2-0 just over four minutes later when he took a pass from Rafael Harvey-Pinard and scored on a backhand shot.
