Derek Carr Puzzled By Michael Thomas's Critical Comments
Las Vegas Raiders quarterback Derek Carr expressed confusion over wide receiver Michael Thomas's recent critical remarks.
In an interview with NFL Network, Thomas criticized Carr's play, saying that the quarterback "needs to be more consistent" and "make better decisions." Carr said he was surprised by Thomas's comments, as he believes he has a good relationship with the receiver.
"I'm not really sure where those comments are coming from," Carr said. "I thought we had a good relationship, but I guess not."
Carr added that he is confident in himself and his abilities, and that he is not letting Thomas's comments get to him.
"I'm not going to let one person's opinion affect me," Carr said. "I know what I'm capable of, and I'm going to continue to work hard and get better."
Thomas's comments come at a time when the Raiders are struggling. The team is 1-4 this season, and Carr has not been playing well. He has thrown for just 901 yards and five touchdowns, with four interceptions.
The Raiders will look to turn things around on Sunday when they host the New York Giants. Carr will need to play well if the Raiders are going to win.
